Cherokee has 2 different Disc Golf Courses! Both Courses are on the MHI grounds on the western edge of Cherokee.  Enter MHI on Cedar St. by taking a left at the fork.  Then take the first right.  Both courses start in this area.

Beacon Hollow Disc Golf Course 

Beacon Hollow is the new course in town and was put up in the summer of 2019!  This course is a advanced level course with a combined total of 7,300 feet with an average of 400 feet per hole. 

The longest hole being a beautiful par 5, 880 foot hole.  It also has a few "ace-able" holes under 300 feet.  The course offers gorgeous views not only of the beautiful grounds of the Cherokee Mental Health Institute but also of the historic buildings located there since 1902.  

 

 

 

Triple Pines Disc Golf Course

Triple Pines Disc Golf Course is the original course.  The old homemade baskets were replaced in 2019.  You will tee off next to the baskets.  All tees are grass. We also have a alternate 9 holes.  The tees are marked with a little red disc in the ground.
